Unitarian Universalist worship in Rochester, Minnesota
We are a fellowship of liberal religious thinkers that has grown in the community since 1866. Our mission is to provide a welcoming community where people of diverse beliefs can come together to seek truth, meaning, and spiritual growth. Our churches are dedicated to promoting social justice, environmental sustainability, and the inherent worth and dignity of every person. We invite you to explore our website and learn more about our members, leaders, and history.
Our UU congregation has spent more than 50 years in the current church on Walden Lane in Southeast Rochester, which is our fourth home since 1866. In 2023 the congregation voted to build a new church and purchased new property in Northeast Rochester. A "Building Our Future" team is actively planning with architects, construction and energy experts, and local officials to plan and create a new church.
